It was a bit of a grumpy day at the Vernon Worthen Park. I'm not sure if it was the heat, tiredness, or just plain fear. But man, Ashlee was not to enthused about the 4th of July celebration at the park. You can check out our own personal blog for the whole story but here are some cute pics of the day. Hey everyone. Just wanted to say "hi". Nothing exciting going on here at the Redd home. Just the same ol' stuff. We might be spending a week in Monticello sometime soon. Justin's dad might have a side job lined up for him. It will give us an extra $1000. That would be nice! Anyway, I'm trying be be a better blogger, so forgive my laziness!!! There's not really much going on with our family. The only thing new with us is I just passed my nursing boards and got my LPN license. Sean and Shante are going to be moving up north in just a little over 2 weeks. Sean will be going to the University of Utah. Sara, Justin, and Nathan don't have any big news (atleast not that I've heard). Cheryl is going to be doing daycare in her home and has put her notice into Paula's. She will not be waitressing anymore and I think she is very excited about that. Here are a few pics from our family's recent stuff. The first is of Ashlee's third birthday. Then some of her swimming lessons. The last ones are of me and her swimming at the Comfort Suites. Enjoy!! Cody, Tawsha, and Ashlee

I wanted to update everyone on our little family. Next month we are celebrating our 9 year anniversary and Ashlee is turning 3. We have been in our brand new house now for a full year and we love it. We have been working hard on getting our landscaping done finally (hope to get in done so we can enjoy it this summer). Not much else is going on with us other than the usual. I just finished my first year of nursing school. I will be studying hard over the summer to prepare for my state boards. Once I take (and pass) those I will be a Licensed Practical Nurse. Then in the fall year 2 of nursing school starts. I will graduate May 2009, and start to get ready for state boards again that will license me as a Registered Nurse. I still work at the same OB/GYN office, (almost 8 years). I love it there and really don't think I will ever leave. Ashlee has been in swimming lessons and also a cute little music class where she learns all sorts of cute new songs. I got to go to her last day of class and she was so cute. I couldn't believe she knew the words and actions to all the fun little songs. This summer she will start a gymnastics class and move up a level in swimming lessons. She is so excited. Then in the fall she is starting preschool. (I can't believe it). She will learn the basic academics as well as dancing, music, karate, and tumbling. She can't wait to go. Everytime she sees a school bus she says, "thats what I get to ride to school huh, it will be fun, you can ride it too mommy when you go to school." I hope she isn't disappointed when she finds out the "school bus" is either my car or grandma cheryl' car. As all of you know, Cody is an automotive technician. He still works at the same transmission shop. It once was Cottman and now its AAMCO. He has been there for almost 4 years now. Other than that he is the same old Cody.
