Cody, Tawsha, and Ashlee

I wanted to update everyone on our little family. Next month we are celebrating our 9 year anniversary and Ashlee is turning 3. We have been in our brand new house now for a full year and we love it. We have been working hard on getting our landscaping done finally (hope to get in done so we can enjoy it this summer). Not much else is going on with us other than the usual. I just finished my first year of nursing school. I will be studying hard over the summer to prepare for my state boards. Once I take (and pass) those I will be a Licensed Practical Nurse. Then in the fall year 2 of nursing school starts. I will graduate May 2009, and start to get ready for state boards again that will license me as a Registered Nurse. I still work at the same OB/GYN office, (almost 8 years). I love it there and really don't think I will ever leave. Ashlee has been in swimming lessons and also a cute little music class where she learns all sorts of cute new songs. I got to go to her last day of class and she was so cute. I couldn't believe she knew the words and actions to all the fun little songs. This summer she will start a gymnastics class and move up a level in swimming lessons. She is so excited. Then in the fall she is starting preschool. (I can't believe it). She will learn the basic academics as well as dancing, music, karate, and tumbling. She can't wait to go. Everytime she sees a school bus she says, "thats what I get to ride to school huh, it will be fun, you can ride it too mommy when you go to school." I hope she isn't disappointed when she finds out the "school bus" is either my car or grandma cheryl' car. As all of you know, Cody is an automotive technician. He still works at the same transmission shop. It once was Cottman and now its AAMCO. He has been there for almost 4 years now. Other than that he is the same old Cody.

New events

Just to keep everyone updated...Sean's wedding turned out really well. They had it in our parents' living room and had a good turn out. Shante looked really beautiful and they both seem really happy. I actually almost cried! I never cry at weddings and always wondered why people did. (: I don't think I cried at my own wedding (although it was a very happy moment for me!)

Cody and Tawsha are doing well. Their daughter, Ashlee is growing fast and is so cute! They bought a really cute home in Middleton where Cody and I grew up. Cody is working as a mechanic and Tawsha is still busy working at the women's clinic there in St George and trying to finish up nursing school.

As for Justin and I, we've moved again for the 3rd time in a year. We are now living in Copperton, a cute, remote town just west of West Jordan. We love it here and have great neighbors. The best part of it is Justin is only 5 minutes from work. A big change from the 45 minute commwe know if a really nice one for sale. Also, we are looking to adopt again, so if you know of anyone who would like to place their baby for adoption, we know this couple who may be a little weird, but they love kids!

As for my parents, most of you probably know, but they've done some remodeling to their home and it looks great. They put hardwood floors in and redecorated quite a bit. Mom still works at Paula's (although I've been trying to get her to start doing interior design), and dad is still at West Fab.

Not a whole lot going on, but my dad wanted me to get a blog going of our family so we can keep ute he had when we lived in Tooele. We are currently renting out our home in Tooele until we sell it, so if anyone knows of someone who would like to buy a home in Tooele - everyone updated on what's going on. We would also love to hear from you guys and keep in touch.
